Vertical Multistage Pumps
MIPA is an ISO 9001 Company with more then 30 years of experience in Designing and Manufacturing of these pumps.
VHP,VHP-M and VHP-IM series pumps are Multistage High Pressure used as Boiler feed pump for irrigation, in Sprinkler installations, Pressure boosting, Multi story Buildings, Hydro-Pneumatic Systems, Water works, Fire fighting, Mining, etc.
Designed for better hydraulic efficiency saves the power input. Available in SIZES from 1" TO 3" for a flow rate of up to 700 LPM and a maximum HEAD of 300 meters suitable for hot water up to 90 C.
This is a vertical pump with single or multistage construction. The intermediate casings are clamped together by external tie bolt and sealed with 'O' ring. In VHP pumps Deep groove ball bearing is used at one end and bronze bush bearing is used at other end as well as in the intermediate casings, depending upon the number of stages. For all other models we use bush bearings at both the ends. In case of VHP pumps conventional soft graphite lubricated packed stuffing boxes are incorporated. Other models are fitted with Mechanical Seal. The shaft is fitted with renewable shaft sleeve in the region of the stuffing box, when fitted with gland to protect shaft from wear due to packing. For special applications special design of stuffing boxes or mechanical seals can be fitted as required.
SUCTION AND DELIVERY NOZZLES In case of VHP and VHP-M pumps suction nozzle horizontal located near the base. The discharge nozzle is also horizontal located near the drive end. The position for the discharge nozzle can be supplied in line, opposite or at 90O in either direction with the suction nozzle. Both the nozzles are flanged available in either oval or round shape. In case of VHP-IM pimps the suction and delivery nozzles are located in line at the same level.
DRIVE The prime mover should be directly connected to the pump through a flexible/split muff coupling. The motor required is a flanged mounted motor to be fitted on the bracket supplied along with the pump.
MATERIAL OF CONSTRUCTION Available in standard material as well as specific material combination as required.
